We offer a wide variety of accessories for LAVINA machines as well as adapter tool holder plates for other grinders, such as HTC, Husqvarna, Sase, Scanmaskin, Edco, STI, etc., to convert them to Lavina Quick Change tooling.
With adapter plates, you can easily switch to our Quick Change style tooling, no matter what grinder you have. We offer plates for HTC, Sase, Husqvarna, Edco, Diamatic, STI / PrepMaster, Klindex, Terrco, and other floor grinders, as well as a universal bolt-on tool adapters.
These universal adapters feature three standard threaded holes for easy bolting and our standard magnetic and dovetail security - just bolt on to your machine heads and start using Lavina QuickChange tools. Compatible with all Lavina Quick Change tooling.
This simple scratch tester helps you determine the hardness of your floor and pick the right tools. It's a must-have tool for every concrete flooring contractor! It includes 4 double-ended picks with eight points from 2 to 9 on Mohs hardness scale. Depending on the hardness of the concrete, you can select the proper bond tools as shown below. This is important because it helps you achieve optimal cutting, maximum tool life and avoid glazing.
We recommend using tool security plates to lock all Quick Change style tooling in place. All Lavina machines come with those plates but if you need extra pieces, you can always order them from your Lavina distributor. Please note that the new Elite models use different style plates from those for X models (due to the different lock design), and there are two sizes tool security plates for 9-inch heads and 13.2-inch heads. Pictured below from left to right are security plates for 9-inch Elite heads, 13.2-inch Elite heads, 9-inch X heads, 13.2-inch X heads.
LAVINA Foam Plates are oered in different diameters, incl. 7", 9", 13.2" for Lavina X and older models.
Foam plates are a great solution to attach velcro-backed tools. They feature a thick layer with flexible foam which allows for a better contact of the diamond tools with the high and low spots on the floor.
When running velcro backed tooling on a foam plate, we recommend using Velcro Protectors - offered in 9 inch with 3x83mm cutouts, and 13.5 inch with 6x83mm cutouts (#VP-9 & #VP-13.5).
These new Quick Change Pad Holders are designed to attach floor maintenance pads, such as Shine Pro, directly to your Lavina grinder heads, without the need of foam plate. They come in two styles for use with 9-inch heads (XQCPH9 - use 3 pcs per head) and 13-inch heads (XQCPH13 - use 6 pcs per head, plus the center "cap" A68.00.00).
Aluminum Lippage Holders are used for attaching vecro-backed tools and are offered in 4in and 83mm sizes. They are offered with a QuickChange attachment (#XQC-4LH, #XQC-83LH) for use with Lavina QuickChange plates, and with a regular bolt-on attachment (#4LH, #83LH) for use with other grinder plates. Rubbber spacers with Hook & Loop serve as a cushion between the diamond pad and the backer, and are offered in different diameters (3,4,5,6,7,8,9 inch).
We also offer rigid and flexible backer pads for angle grinders. Our rigid backers (aluminum) are used for straight edges and flat surfaces and are offered in 3, 4, 5 and 7-inch sizes. Our flexible backers with foam are used for curved edges and are offered in 5- and 7-inch sizes.
The LAVINA tool box is ideal for storing and carrying your metal and resin diamond tools. Fits up to 45 pcs QuickChange metal tools AND 72 pcs 3-inch resin pucks.
The additional machine weights increase the grinding pressure of your LAVINA grinders, boosting your grinding power and helping you to cut more aggressively on tough floors.
LAVINA grinder weights for X series and older models are horseshoe style and are offered in two sizes:
- 48 lbs for L20, 20N X, S, Pro, SPS machines and 25SPS machines - #A07.00.00.00
- 64 lbs weights for all LAVINA 25-inch and up - #A08.00.00.00.
L32G-X and L38GR-X machines have integrated weights, so you do not need additional weights.
